WATER

The water market was deregulated in Scotland in 2008 and England in 2017, meaning that non-domestic customers, regardless of size, are now able to switch their water and sewerage services to a new supplier and negotiate competitive contracts. Wales is not currently deregulated.

In the same way that businesses buy electricity and gas, businesses can now benefit from competition and reduced water supply prices – saving up to 25%.
